What Is Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre?

snowflex: Invented by Brian Thomas of Briton Engineering, Snowflex is a multi-layer, synthetic material that simulates the effects of snow, allowing maximum speed and edge control for making turns. With the help of small misting devices, Snowflex stays moist, giving it the slip and grip of real snow. Snowflex’s extra padding and support enhances the most extreme maneuvers and stunts, culminating in the ultimate adventure.
Although mountain ski resorts are only accessible during cold weather months, the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre will be available year-round, day and night, rain or shine.
LMSC is located near Liberty University campus in Lynchburg, Virginia. There are 2 main runs. One with a drop-in to 2 kickers, and a tabletop jump and now also a "battleship box" feature(up-flat-down box). Coming off these features you land on the biggest landing ramp Snowflex has seen. On the other run, there are various features that can be moved around at anytime. At the bottom, there is an 11 ft quarter pipe with a wall ride feature on one side.
